Getting help
There are three places to take a problem, and which one you pick mostly depends on whether money is involved.
Order and money problems
The help center is the place. It is where every Layout policy is published, and it is the only place they are published, so it is also what our own support and our own assistant answer from.
Start with these:
- Fix a wrong, late, or missing order
- How refunds work
- How and when you are charged
- Change or cancel an order
You can also reply to any receipt email. It reaches a person.
Asking your assistant
Your assistant can answer Layout questions directly, and when it does, it is reading our published help center rather than making something up. Ask "how do Layout refunds work" in the same chat you order in.
If we have not published something, it will say so instead of inventing a policy. That is deliberate. A confident wrong answer about somebody's money is worse than no answer, and it is worse precisely because it sounds right.
Talking to us
- Support and general questions: contact@layout.link or layout.link/contact
- Phone: +1 (877) 318-8673
- Something broken on the platform, or an outage: status.layout.link
- A security issue: see reporting an issue
Telling us Layout got something wrong
This is the useful one, and we mean it. Layout is early, and the failures we care most about are the ones where it was confidently wrong: an option it invented, a location it picked badly, a total that did not match the counter, an order it claimed it placed.
Send that to contact@layout.link with the restaurant and roughly when it happened. We can pull the full trace of one order from that, and those reports are what the next version of this thing is built from.
