Web, iPhone and text

Most people order through apps built on Layout or an assistant they already use. You can also order from Layout directly, in three places. All of them use the same account, card, preferences and receipts, and every order runs the way how an order works describes.

On the web

Type what you want into the box on layout.link and a chat with Layout opens. You do not need an account to start: you can build a couple of carts and see real totals first. When you press Check out, Layout asks for your phone number and a card, and your chat and cart carry over to the account. Nothing is charged until you confirm.

Signed in, the same chat is at account.layout.link, next to your orders, preferences and account settings.

On iPhone

The Layout app is on the App Store. It has the same chat, plus your orders and receipts, your card and Layout One, your spending limit, and the assistants and apps connected to your account. An order in progress shows on your lock screen as a Live Activity, and the app sends order alerts, never marketing.

By text

Text Layout from the phone number on your Layout account and say what you want. Layout builds the cart and texts it back with the items, the total and the card. Reply YES to place it.

An order that needs a code, such as one over $50, cannot be placed by text, and Layout tells you to finish it in the app. A number that is not on a Layout account can ask questions but cannot order.
